The largest allyl chloride market is the manufacture of a quaternary ammonium polymer (polyDADMAC) used as coagulant for water treatment, papermaking and the mining industry. Other chemicals made from allyl chloride include a variety of allylamines, chlorosilane derivatives, and various intermediates in the production of agrochemicals and pharmaceuticals.
