Epichlorohydrin is a versatile chemical intermediate used in many applications.

Epoxy Resins are the main products made from epichlorohydrin. They are incorporated in adhesives, coatings, and composites required by many industries. Examples include:

Epichlorohydrin elastomers used in the automotive industry due to their excellent resistance to oxygen, weather, fuels and oils

Halogenated Phosphate Ester Flame Retardants added to rigid and flexible polyurethane foam to reduce flammability

Surfactants incorporated in personal care products due to their mild properties
