Solvay Chemicals, Inc.’s Longview, Washington hydrogen peroxide plant came onstream in 1989. One of the most sophisticated chemical facilities worldwide, the plant is equipped with state-of-the art automation, safety protection, and quality control systems.

Production capacity of the Longview plant has more than tripled since its initial construction, yet its environmental and safety performances remain benchmarks in the Solvay group. Washington's Department of Occupational Safety and Health has granted Star recognition to the Longview site in its Voluntary Protection Program (VPP), a status maintained since 2001.

Plant capacity is 150 million pounds, and product is available for shipment via truck or railcar.
